Insurance4carhire.com works with our customers and colleagues to raise funds for specific projects at four great charities which touch the lives of most people. 

 As part of the Towergate Group, Insurance4carhire is supporting Towergate’s 4 nominated charities listed below. The Towergate Group pay all the charity administration costs. This ensures that 100% of every donation is channelled to the charitable causes through the Towergate Charitable Foundation. Please help us make a difference by adding a charity donation of just £1 to your insurance payment. Insurance4carhire is committed to supporting charities that are involved in delivering real projects that make a difference to people’s lives. 

  
 Specific Projects 

 The charitable projects we are supporting in 2008 are summarised below. Full details are available at   www.towergate.org.uk.  Insurance4carhire.com will keep you up to date on the progress through our quarterly newsletters. 

 • Cancer Research UK – we are paying for Professor Harris, at the Oxford Research centre, to continue the development of the vaccine that is gradually winning the fight against Bowel cancer. 
 • ChildLine – Paying to train volunteer staff at 11 call centres across UK so that all of the 4500 children who call each day can receive help. 
 • Great Ormond Street Hospital – Paying to build 2 isolation units in the new Cardiac & Respiratory wing. This will cut post operation infection. 
 • Help the Hospices – paying for 17 Scholarships for senior Hospice staff to take a Masters in Hospice leadership at £5k each. Plus providing £50k to an Innovations Grant Fund that will provide grants to local hospices who wish to test innovative fund raising schemes but do not have all the launch money needed.
