Car Club Excess Insurance

If you’re a member of a car club, such as Zipcar or City Car Club, you’ll already know how simple it is to reserve and pick up your rental vehicle.

Whether it’s by the hour or by the day, hiring a car in the city has never been so easy. So, why not make things a little easier by pre-buying your Car Club rental excess insurance?

Did you know?

  1. As a car club member, you may be expected to pay between £750 and £1000* as a contribution (excess) in the event of a claim?
  2. The cost to reduce this excess with a car club, can be as much as £90 per year!†
  3. Insurance4carhire Car Club excess insurance starts from just £39.99 for UK & European annual cover.
  4. An insurance4carhire policy will not only cover the excess on damage and theft of the rental vehicle, but it will cover damage to the windows, tyres, undercarriage, roof and headlights - often not covered by car club rental companies.

Be smart - pre-buy peace of mind.

Had a little accident with the car and the carhire insurance did cover all the costs as expected. It took something like a month to see the money on my account but I am sure we did all to make the process as fast as possible.

Hi Clicked excellent - Good came up as well?
Bought the insurance as hire companies charge exorbitant cost for poorer coverage - have used the company before for a USA / CANADA trip - not had to make any claim - but excellent so far,

I have used Insurance4carhire for many years and always found it easy to renew my insurance with them. I think that the premium is very reasonable as I go abroad twice a year and know that when I hire a car I am covered for things that I would not get from the car hire company. I will continue to renew as long as the premiums are about the same price to give me piece of mind when on holiday.

Thankfully haven't had need to claim, but it is reassuring to know that I am covered for pretty much all eventualities and don't have to feel railroaded into purchasing exorbitant car hire company excess cover. Purchasing process was straightforward.
